We are not focused on competing the opposite gender, nor do we focus on prioritizing or highlighting one gender over the other. We are specifically focused on moms of all ages, grand moms knowing they are the backbone of our society influencing others to make an impact to the lives of our next generation. We believe that focus is tomorrow is the key at the end of the day.
We are a mandated to provide social and community services organization with a primary focus on mothers at risk, vulnerable groups of immigrants, ethnically diverse, low income mothers and our secondary focus is on youth through building the capacity of these mothers.
To provide accessibility, affordability and availability solutions for meaningful yet comprehensive fun filled initiatives for our Moms raising the youth at risk with cultural barriers and other issues.
To provide a one stop shop for community events, project supports and tangible solutions for the community and much more. Working in partnership with stakeholders, we aim to produce a winning team of empowered moms………. a team that’s responsible for making a positive impact for the community.

We are a fiscally responsible and credible grassroots organization and have received funding
supports from federally, provincially and from community. Our organization’s head office is physically located in Peel Region mostly serving Peel residents while we have programs and workshops location in Milton, Toronto and in Scarborough.
We are governed by a volunteer board of directors that is representative of the community it serves along with an executive team of management volunteers, project staff and youth led teams of volunteer groups.
We take pride in mentoring several young grassroots groups through our dedicated group of professional, skilled mothers and our community professionals.
While our primary focus is on mothers coming from Pakistan, India, Syria, Afghanistan and other poor/ underdeveloped countries, we believe in providing equal access to services for individuals of diverse cultures and disabilities.
We are fully complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Code in hiring practices and provision of all of our services while consistently building our cultural capacities through training, process management and community advisory connection building.
Even as a small organization, we adequate coverage for your organization as part of our strong management practices; and have established and documented financial management systems in place to be able to provide annual (audited when needed) financial statements or equivalent
At MomLinks, we have a dedicated group of ladies that understands the critical need for a structured female centered strategy development through our organization with cultural competency and focus on diversity. We have also started our seniors’ program with the community and partners support to take our work to the next level of our older demographic with more potential involvement, volunteering and education for seniors by seniors. The project caters all seniors, but it is especially focused on our female seniors.
Our Programs & Services:
Mom’s Mentoring & Skill Building Program:
We provide advice, referrals, career building training, coaching and peer support to stay at home moms. These moms stay home for a variety of reasons and our focus is to pair them with professionally successful, established mom peers to help them be part of the economic growth of the society.
Eid Shelter Dinners:
Each year we spread Eid cheers to local abused women through providing dinners, deserts, goodie bags and love to local shelters where our less unfortunate moms are staying with their children.
Family Day Feed Your Neighbors:
Each year, on Family day, our moms accompanied by their youth provide hot meals on the street to our less fortunate neighbors to share some family love and care for folks who feel lonely, disconnected or dis engaged. By involving these moms in our welfare program, we also building their personal capacity to share the pain and get engaged with goodness.
Girls Chat Club:
Safe after school hang out hub for Moms and girls to come and hang out and play board games, read books and do their homework.
Mom’s Computer Hub: For Moms at risk to channel their energies, issues, stresses and challenges in a positive learning environment. Moms to engage and raise awareness about active living, positive parenting and raising positive contributors for the society.
Mom’s Lunch & Learn:
A monthly social gathering program led by a community mentor/ speaker to help moms learn or develop skills in a fun filled, entertaining environment while enjoying food, laughter and shared space.
We offer seniors a venue to express themselves, share their knowledge and their skills in a fun filled, respectful and non-judgmental environment. Our senior program is uniquely designed with a focus on intergenerational relationship building where youth is fully engaged in mutual learning and knowledge sharing at our events and activities.
We mentor grassroots groups of moms and youth to ensure they continue making desired impact and manage their capacity by providing them tools to excel. We provide professional guidance, management support, capacity building advices, space and financial support (where possible) to help them build their capacity as grassroot groups. We provide Arts and music programs so Moms and youth can express themselves through arts and fun.
Our Services Strategy:
We provide these programs at little to no cost to the participants to provide alternative venues by building their individual capacity; reduce the pressure on our healthcare system as well as law enforcement agencies.
Our Moms, youth and family engagement programs & are excellent alternative venues to channel their energies in a more focused, productive environment.
